PROPERTY MARKING KITS |

SelectaDNA property marking kits, from Selectamark, can now be purchased by Bassetlaw Neighbourhood Watch Association members. A limited number of kits are available at an introductory price of £14 each. Please contact your group co-ordinator or the Neighbourhood Watch Office on 01909-473875 to order a kit.
Each batch of SelectaDNA contains a non toxic liquid that has a unique DNA code which can only be seen under UV lighting. As well as the DNA identifier, the solution has thousands of tiny microdots each containing the Selectamark database phone number and a unique owner's code. Property can be secured within seconds by simply brushing the solution onto valuable goods. Once applied SelectaDNA dries hard and is virtually impossible to remove. The code from each batch is recorded on Selectamark's secure database, which has Loss Prevention Certification Board approval. This type of property marking gives the police the ability to positively identify a recovered item on-the-spot.
Tamper resistant warning labels and window stickers are also supplied with each kit. By displaying warning labels, window stickers and other signage it immediately deters burglars and thieves. Further deterrence is brought about by the Police who routinely scan stolen property and criminals for traces of SelectaDNA.
Selectamark UV Key ring Lights are also available for purchase at £2 each. The UV light in the key ring enables you to see UV marks, not only on property marked with a forensic chemical like SelectaDNA but also on UV pen marked property and such things as banknotes.

SHED/PROPERTY ALARMS |

Shed/property alarms are available for sale to members at the price of £8.00 per unit. The MD194 alarm is an advanced movement detector designed to protect personal belongings and to detect entry or exit through doors or windows.
The alarm is supplied with a door/window mounting bracket, strap and batteries and comes with a 12 month warranty.
The alarm emits a 130db sound once activated. It is suitable for garden sheds, garages, caravans and personal property. If you would like to purchase, or obtain more information about, the MD194 Alarm, please contact the Neighbourhood Watch Association through your local co-ordinator.
